Boxing Event was Entertaining
The main fight leading up to the undercard was very entertaining with a lot of fights. Nyugen vs. Velez was the best fight of the evening, a 10-round bout filled with non-stop action that went the distance. Cotto's exciting fight had a 3 round TKO. From a boxing fan standpoint, I feel a lot of the undercard fights favored the Puerto Rican fighters, with many poorly matched contests. The Puerto Rican fighters clearly outclassed their competition; it was obvious. My only gripe is with Cotto's fight, as the referee did not give Rodriguez a standing 8 count, making me wonder if he took a dive, especially with the exciting 3 round TKO.
